THE THREE PHASES

PRE-PRODUCTION

We get to know you and your company or brand, devising a project plan consistent with your company’s core values. From scouting locations to sourcing actors, our large network of industry contacts let us handle project logistics smoothly.

The pre-production phase includes script writing and implementing a narrative arc for the project, generating detailed shot lists and storyboards, ensuring efficient production, and working to make sure important project milestones and deadlines are met.

PRODUCTION

Filming begins and we work to make sure the process is efficient, characterized by a high calibre of professionalism and a healthy blend of relaxed fun.

This is where we feel most at home. Making sure we get the shot, implementing spontaneous adjustments when necessary, and maintaining a creative and collaborative approach with our clients.

POST PRODUCTION

This is the phase of refinement where we put all the pieces together. Pacing, tone, supporting motion graphics, sound design, colour grading, and a multi-layered editing workflow all combine to create an exceptional video.
We utilize state of the art equipment and software and have access to a vast array of soundtrack options and voice over talent when narration is needed.

TEAM

A father-son duo, our combined background in directing, cinematography, producing, and photography has enabled us to extend our creative reach immensely. Founding our company in Victoria, BC, we have benefited from a base of operations in one of the most beautiful cities in Canada. Working for Victoria based companies and expanding to projects in Vancouver as well as throughout Vancouver Island has been truly fulfilling. With a Vancouver Island backdrop, we’re inspired everyday.
